We dry flowers and herbs for winter

The mint for the tea comes from our garden all year round, whether fresh or dried. You should also try the alpine herb tea. The marjoram and oregano are exciting, these herbs taste even more intense and aromatic after drying.

How can you use dried herbs?

You can use dried herbs in many ways in the kitchen. Some dried herbs can be used for a delicious tea infusion. Many varieties are also good in combination as a herbal tea blend. For example, you can infuse thyme, sage, mint and ribwort in hot water for a comforting cup of tea and refine it with a little ginger and honey.

When cooking, simply add the dried herbs to sauces, soups and other food at the very end of the cooking time. You can also use the herbs for cold dishes, dips and salads. Homemade herbal salt can also be made with dried herbs. Simply mix about 100 grams of salt with 10 grams of dried herbs of your choice (preferably chopped) and your new kitchen spice is ready.
