Hiking

In summer, hiking is the main attraction. Magnificent mountain hikes in breathtaking scenery promise lasting impressions. There are special challenges on high mountain tours or on the via ferratas. But there are also wonderful and playful hiking trails for families. Immerse yourself in the hiking world of the Bernese Oberland.

Minigolf Wengen

Lauberhorn Minigolf

The Lauberhorn Crazy Golf is more than just Minigolf. The 18-hole-Minigolf course tells different stories about the Lauberhorn Downhill Race. Play the Kernen-S or the Austrian hole as well as throwing the ball out of the snow cannon. Fun for the entire family!

Biking

From Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg or Bachalpsee, from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren, a circular trail on the Hasliberg or a tour lasting several days: in the Jungfrau Region you can ride numerous MTB trails against an impressive mountain backdrop. If you are out and about on an e-bike and the batteries are low, you can recharge them free of charge. BOSCH e-bike chargers are available at around 30 locations in the Jungfrau Region.

Historisches Schwimmbad wengen

Outdoor Swimming Pool Wengen

One of the nicest swimming pools in the Alps with a view of the Jungfrau. Built in 1931, the swimming pool «Am Waldbort» is a certified historic building with a separate kid’s pool, sunbathing area, playground slide, trampoline. The cable car hovers over the pool on the way from Wengen to Männlichen. Enjoy relaxing hours sunbathing in Wengen.

Climbing

Are there via ferratas and climbing routes in the Jungfrau Region? Oh yes, there definitely are. What a question. Loads of them. And quite a snazzy panorama too. The via ferrata doesn’t go up, it goes down. It’s definitely something else. It’s not only the via ferrata which goes down – the steep rockfaces on the way to Gimmelwald open up yawning depths. For experienced climbers, the Lobhorn, the Mönch, the Jungfrau and the Eiger are suitable.

Paragliding

You can already enjoy the wonderful panorama at the starting point. But that is nothing compared to what awaits you afterwards. After take-off, you will feel the big glider gently pulling you and your pilot up into the air. Your pilot is a Swiss certified tandem pilot and knows his glider, the winds and the valley by heart. In Mürren you can fly all year round. Thanks to the favourable geography, flights are possible in almost any weather condition. Paragliding is on many bucket lists. It’s time to tick this item off!
